TERMS & CONDITIONS

CAR RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

Required Documents

Valid Emirates ID or Passport, driving licence, and payment card are required. An International Driving Permit may be needed where applicable.

Rental Periods

The minimum rental period is 24 hours. A grace period of up to 29 minutes may be allowed; late returns may incur additional charges.

Delivery & Collection

Vehicle delivery and collection may be available upon request. Required documents must be provided before delivery.

Vehicle Condition

Vehicles are handed over in good condition with existing damage documented. Return the vehicle in the same condition, excluding normal wear and tear.

Authorized Drivers

Only drivers approved and registered on the rental agreement may operate the vehicle. The renter is responsible for additional drivers.

Insurance & Accidents

Vehicles include standard UAE motor insurance. In an accident, notify us immediately, obtain an official police report, and provide the requested documents.

Fines, Salik & Fuel

The renter is responsible for traffic fines, parking charges, Salik tolls, and returning the vehicle with the same fuel level.

Roadside Assistance

Roadside assistance is available for mechanical failures not caused by driver negligence. Charges may apply for lost keys, fuel shortages, or tyre damage.

Payments & Cancellation

Rental charges are paid in advance unless agreed otherwise. A refundable security deposit may be required, and cancellation charges may apply.

SAFE & RESPONSIBLE DRIVING

PROHIBITED USE, ACCIDENTS & DAMAGE

Vehicles must not be used for racing, drifting, off-road driving, unlawful purposes, or outside the UAE without written authorization
Do not allow any person under the influence of alcohol or drugs to drive the vehicle
In the event of an accident, contact emergency services if required, obtain an official police report, and provide all requested documentation

TRAFFIC FINES, SALIK & PARKING

The renter is fully responsible for traffic fines, parking fines, Salik toll charges, vehicle impound fees, and applicable administrative processing fees.

VEHICLE DELIVERY & COLLECTION

Vehicle delivery and collection services may be available upon request. Required documents must be provided before delivery, and the renter remains responsible until inspection is completed.

VEHICLE CONDITION

The vehicle is received in good condition, with any existing damage documented before handover. It must be returned in the same condition, excluding normal wear and tear.

INSURANCE COVERAGE

All vehicles are covered by standard UAE motor insurance. Insurance coverage may become invalid if traffic laws are violated, unauthorized drivers operate the vehicle, or a police report is not obtained after an accident.

YOUR RENTAL. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Car Business DXB shall not be liable for personal belongings left in the vehicle, indirect or consequential losses, missed travel arrangements, or delays caused by accidents, breakdowns, or force majeure events.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Any disputes related to the rental agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
By booking, renting, or using a vehicle from The Car Business DXB, the renter confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
